2023 Festival – Blonay, Switzerland
This summer, soundSCAPE Composition and Performance Exchange moved to our new home at the Hindemith Music Centre in Blonay, Switzerland for two weeks of inspiring creative growth and music-making. 35 participants from around the world came together in July to hone in on their skills as composers, performers, and sound engineers. Featuring state-of-the-art practice facilities and lodging overlooking scenic Lake Geneva, the centre was an inspiring place for our participants to develop their musical craft. Our renowned faculty worked with participants in private lessons and masterclass while collaborating on new pieces which were presented in daily concerts.
The centre provided an unparalleled opportunity for our participants to immerse themselves in creativity while learning from our world-renowned faculty in a collaborative setting. We look forward to returning to the Hindemith Music Centre in Blonay for our 2024 festival!
